The New York Knicks (finally) made a good decision to go with a full-on rebuild, but things are off to a pretty rough start in the post-Melo — and post-Phil — era.

The Knicks were pummeled 110-89 by the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night to fall to 0-3 on the season. After the game, veterans Courtney Lee and Tim Hardaway Jr. showed frustration about how unprepared the team is.

Lee said some Knicks players don’t even know the plays, and need to “pay more attention in practice.”

Hardaway said the players are “all running like [they] don’t know what’s going on.”

Even though Lee put the blame on the players for not paying attention in practice, this certainly isn’t a good look for second-year Knicks head coach Jeff Hornacek if the players aren’t listening to him. This situation figures to get worse before it gets better (although, getting a win would certainly be an improvement!).
