The Philadelphia 76ers picked up an impressive 113-104 road victory against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday at BMO Harris Bradley Center, led by Joel Embiid and his 22 points (18 in the second half).
After the game, Embiid took to social media (as he usually does) and posted about the win on Instagram:
Well, Embiid’s since taken down the “location” of the photo, but for at least a couple hours listed it is as “Shithole”, and many social media users took notice. Examples:

Many Instagram users also commented in reaction to it. Examples of that:
abdallah.shaikh: I thought you were pretty cool but now you’re full of yourself and I think you can calm it down a little. Lemme know when you guys hit 15 wins
csutttt: @slykidvon dude your city is nicknamed filthadelphia. Your city threw snowballs at Santa. Philly sucks
jpinty: F u calling Milwaukee a #shithole
cullenstarker: The Sixers suck go back to ur shithole philly
bigmikeyc: Milwaukee is a shithole? What would that make Philly then?
nate_smith80: I love u Joel but don’t call my hometown of Milwaukee a shithole bud
thebuckspage: Yeah damn right you took the “shithole” off
So, it certainly appears that Milwaukee is to Embiid what Cleveland is to Joakim Noah.
