Drake got into a feud with Kendrick Perkins Tuesday.

Beyond his music, Drake is known for being a fan of Toronto teams (and a whole lot of others), perhaps especially the Raptors given his “global ambassador” role. And during their Game 1 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers Monday, he got into quite the verbal exchanges with Cavs’ center Kendrick Perkins (who was inactive for the game and in a suit). This first boiled over at halftime:

And flared up again after the Raptors lost 113-112 in overtime (warning: NSFW language):

As Bruce Arthur of The Toronto Star noted, it continued after that video, too:

This led to a whole lot of Twitter speculation that a fight with Perkins (listed at 6’10”, 270-pounds) would go quite poorly for the rapper (reportedly around 6’0”).

This wouldn’t have been perfect without a Degrassi: The Next Generation shot. And it wasn’t the only case of tempers flaring Tuesday; that also happened on-court, with the Raptors’ Fred Van Vleet trying to make a run at LeBron James at one point in a similar size mismatch. But yeah, Drake might want to pick a fight with someone a little smaller mext time?
