Cleveland Cavaliers big man Evan Mobley is a strong NBA Rookie of the Year contender, and he’s showed why in Thursday night’s game against the Washington Wizards.

The USC product put incredible athleticism on display with a crazy up-and-under layup in the first quarter.

That reverse layup would make Julius Erving proud.

Mobley, 20, has averaged 14.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.8 blocks in his rookie season. He’s already very productive, and he has enormous upside.

He’s making the upstart Cavs look very smart for selecting him with the No. 3 overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft.
