Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo — a virtual lock to win his second consecutive NBA MVP award — surely has a suspension coming after a very ugly incident in Tuesday night’s game against the Washington Wizards.
In the second quarter, Antetokounmpo was unhappy about an offensive foul call, with Washington’s Moe Wagner drawing the charge. Antetokounmpo and Wagner exchanged words, and Antetokounmpo proceeded to viciously headbutt Wagner.

That’s definitely not okay. Antetokounmpo was ejected, and will likely be suspended for multiple games.
The 25-year-old has averaged 29.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game this season.
The Bucks have the NBA’s best record at 56-16, and were able to still beat the Wizards 126-113 despite Antetokounmpo’s early exit.

It’s also great news for the Bucks and Antetokounmpo that the suspension isn’t longer; perhaps it would’ve been a suspension for multiple games if it didn’t extend into the playoffs. The NBA surely doesn’t want its — arguably — best player out for playoff games.
