Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has long been known to be one of the best players in all of basketball, but he might be among one of the funniest players in basketball, as well. He showed that in a recent interaction with one of his teammates on the Bucks, Serge Ibaka.
Ibaka hosts a YouTube show called “How Hungry Are You?”, where he discusses a number of different topics while eating food with NBA players.
His teammate Jrue Holiday was the guest for his latest episode on Monday. The two discussed various things, and Ibaka asked Holiday to call Antetokounmpo to see how good of a friend he was to Holiday.
It turns out Holiday and Ibaka disturbed Antetokounmpo, who was taking a nap. The two-time MVP decided to absolutely tear Ibaka apart for disrupting his sleep when he answered the phone.
“Bro, I’m taking a nap,” Antetokounmpo told Ibaka. “You’re not a chef, You’re not an artist. You’re a role player and a rebounder. And a screen setter. That’s what you are, bye.”
Ibaka didn’t seem to take these comments to heart, but this was some pretty brutal criticism from his teammate.
To be fair to Antetokounmpo, he isn’t exactly wrong about Ibaka at this point in his career. The former NBA Champion has been used sparingly this season for the Bucks, playing just 14 games for Milwaukee while averaging 4.3 points per game.
