People that are putting money on the 2016-17 New York Knicks on a Friday night in April are already in a dark place as it is, but this latest loss vs the spread had to really hurt.

With the Memphis Grizzlies leading the Knicks 99-89 in the game’s final seconds, Grizzlies rookie guard Wade Baldwin IV was dribbling out the clock, and then decided to toss up a meaningless three from just in front of half-court at the buzzer. Swish.

And the line was Knicks +12.5…

And that has to be the bad beat of the NBA season. Brutal.

Also, the Washington Wizards certainly would not have been fans of that late three from Baldwin.
