Draymond Green missed a layup in the third quarter of Friday night’s Warriors-Kings game in Sacramento, but was bailed out by a very late foul call. And it’s almost like the ref only called a foul because he couldn’t believe Green would miss an easy layup.

It’s unclear if Sacramento’s Zach Randolph even touched Green on the play, but if there was contact, it was an extremely light tap that in no way altered Green’s shot.

Randolph understandably couldn’t believe the call, and ran around the court in confusion and laughter (and ESPN color commentator P.J. Carlesimo agreed with him).

If you’re going to call a foul on this play, you could call a foul on just about any play. You’d get kicked out of a pickup game for claiming you got fouled here:

There wasn’t even “Ball Don’t Lie” help from the basketball gods, as Green made both free throws.
