Crazy play in an NBA G League game between the Memphis Hustle and Mexico City Captains.

A wacky play happened in the NBA G League on Thursday night that looked straight out of the Harlem Globetrotters or AND1 Mixtape Tour.

Memphis Hustle (Grizzlies affiliate) forward Darnell Cowart threw a pass off the head of Mexico City Captains defender Gary Clark. The ball boomeranged back to Cowart, who then threw a pass to a cutting Damien Jefferson, who completed the possession with a powerful dunk.

That crazy, comical play looked incredibly smooth and almost planned for Memphis.

And it was surely a painful moment — both physically and mentally — for Clark (who’s played in 170 career NBA games, most recently with the New Orleans Pelicans last season).

Here’s a look at how the basketball world is reacting to the hilarious play:

Despite being on the wrong end of a viral video, Clark had a very productive game, with 15 points, 12 rebounds, four steals, three assists, and three blocks. His Captains came away with a 108-93 victory.
