It didn’t take long into the 2021-22 NBA season for Ja Morant to put together an incredible highlight.

The third-year Memphis Grizzlies guard threw down a full-extension, one-handed alley-oop dunk against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night, in what’s the season opener for each team.

Check out this nasty jam from the incredibly athletic point guard:

With roughly eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Morant leads all scorers in the game with 26 points in 26 minutes played.

He’s a special talent, and there will be plenty more amazing highlights to come from him this season.

Update: Morant finished with 37 points (17-of-29 from the field), six assists, six rebounds, and two blocks in a 132-121 Grizzlies win.
