The Houston Rockets lost 135-133 to the San Antonio Spurs in double overtime on Tuesday night. Houston’s James Harden scored 50 points (one game after he scored 60 points), but with a rough night shooting from the floor: 11-of-38 on field goals.

So how the heck did Harden score 50 points if he shot 29% from the floor? He went 24-of-24 at the free throw line (good for 100% according to my calculator).

And during one of Harden’s trips to the free throw line, he was yelled at by a Spurs fan:

“No one wants to see a free throw shooting contest!”

Harden quickly responded to the fan:

“Nobody wants to see fouls either, god dammit!”

Rather fittingly, the game (basically) ended with Harden being called for an offensive foul.
