The Brooklyn Nets at full potential are one of the most dangerous teams in the Eastern Conference, and possibly even the NBA. However, we may never get to see the Nets at full strength with this roster going forward.
There have been rumors for the past couple of weeks that Nets star shooting guard James Harden is unhappy with the team. Also, there is a potential suitor for Harden in the Philadelphia 76ers.
These rumors seem to be coming to a boiling point ahead of tomorrow’s NBA trade deadline. NBA insider Brian Windhurst says that Harden is now “screaming to get away from the Nets” and that he is pushing for a trade to the 76ers.
“I can’t tell you how much James Harden wants this,” Windhurst said today on ESPN’s Greeny.
This is not the first time that Harden has been adamant about being traded. Harden famously did the same thing while on the Houston Rockets, calling out the players on the team, and was subsequently traded only a few days later.
James Harden asked if he’s surprised the #Rockets didn’t make a run: “We’re just not good enough..Chemistry, talent-wise, everything. It’s clear..I love this city I’ve literally done everything that I can..It’s crazy. It’s something that I don’t think can be fixed.” pic.twitter.com/1bbfrytyUj

These reports have come with many criticizing the star player who is seemingly done with the Nets.
At this point, it’s buyer beware for any team thinking *this* is the key to a championship. Every team he goes to, they’re in worse shape than where they started.
Great individual talent. But he’ll burn everything down around him while he’s getting his 30 ppg. https://t.co/tiNRXq0n6U

Has a player ever quit on two teams in the same season? https://t.co/JznYvyFLgD

It is worth noting that other top NBA insiders such as Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania have been eerily quiet on the superstar so far.
Woj said just a few days ago that the Nets and 76ers hadn’t talked about a trade involving Harden in a month, but it appears that Harden may have his mind made about being traded.
Harden has a player option in his contract with the Nets and has already said that he plans to test out the waters of free agency, so whoever ends up trading for him better be a destination that he would want to stay.
The team has lost 9 straight games with the absence of Harden and Kevin Durant, and it appears that this Big 3 could be imploding in front of our eyes.
