Just a few seconds into Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Boston Celtics may have suffered a major blow to the team.

As he was taking a shot, Jayson Tatum appeared to injure his ankle. Although he was able to get back up, clearly he was in pain.

That will be something to watch as the game moves along. How effective will he be through the rest of the game with his apparent injury?

The Celtics can ill-afford to lose Tatum right now. The Celtics, who had an early lead, fell behind by double digits with Tatum on the bench.

What makes things even worse is they aren’t hitting their three-point shots tonight either. In the last two games combined, the Celtics are hitting 15% from the 3-point line.

That, plus the injury to Tatum, is not a good sign for this Boston team.

Fans on social media reacted to Tatum’s injury.

Most fans are wishing a quick recovery for the star. But some fans are making fun of Tatum’s injury saying that the Celtics star is soft.

The Celtics better hope he can play through the pain because the way they are shooting so far, this series could over in the first half.
