Friday night’s Timberwolves-Jazz game was full of drama.
In the first half, Minnesota star Karl-Anthony Towns was ejected from the game because #RefShow.
And with just over five minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Minnesota’s Jeff Teague basically body-checked Utah’s Ricky Rubio into the Timberwolves’ bench. This led to a near brawl between the two teams, and Teague was ejected. Also keep an eye on Utah’s Jae Crowder going after Teague following the play:
Here’s a replay angle to get a better look at the body-check from Teague:
Well, then it was Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau getting into it with Crowder, which resulted in a double technical.
Thibodeau also got the crybaby treatment from Jazz fans.

And then we had a couple of unexpected tweet, while the game was still going on from… Jimmy Butler! The Timberwolves’ star is out with a torn meniscus, and shot off his first tweets since 2016, and showed his support for Teague’s body-check. He also told Crowder, “get away from my coach. You don’t want no smoke either.”
haven’t used Twitter in years. But yeah Jeff that’s what I like to see. Rubio getting up quick for no reason.

Just your typical night in the NBA this season. Oh, and the Jazz won the game 116-108.
