It’s not rare to see people, both young and old talking smack about professional athletes. It could be at an arena or stadium, or nowadays, it can be online, whether it be on Twitter, Facebook, or in this case—Instagram.

Instagram user kodyepugh posted a picture with Jeremy Lin, where it appears the two had been playing basketball.

Here is the photo in question:

In the comments that followed, one kind user told him to keep working, inspiring his friend. Another user, wasn’t so kind, commenting, “Y’all both trash.”

Little did the trash-talker know, Jeremy Lin doesn’t pull punches, and fired back by mentioning the user and saying that he himself was trash:

The best part about the whole thing? The person who said that Lin and Pugh were trash, asked Lin to play a game of one-on-one with him.

This just goes to show you, you never know when you might get that response that you thought wasn’t possible.
