San Antonio Spurs rookie forward Jeremy Sochan has yet to really prove himself as a standout player in the NBA. That didn’t stop him from absolutely ripping Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James while watching the NBA Playoffs from home.

James and the Los Angeles Lakers faced off against the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals on Thursday night.

Many critics of James have criticized him for flopping to try and get additional calls from the refs. Sochan joined that group of critics with a clear message on social media towards him.

“Why does ‘King’ James flop so much?,” tweeted Sochan.

Considering Sochan’s status as a rookie in the NBA, the comment didn’t go over well… Many took to social media to blast him for his criticism of a proven player like LeBron James.

Sochan may be right about his flopping. That being said, Sochan doesn’t really have the respect around the league to make comments like this about a true legend of the game like LeBron James.

James has remained one of the best players in the league for 20 seasons. Sochan was less than five months old when James made his NBA debut back in 2003.

It also doesn’t help his case that the Spurs ended up winning the NBA Draft lottery due to their awful season, while James and the Lakers are still competing for a trip to the NBA Finals.

Sochan could go on to have a very good NBA career at some point. That being said, blasting a player like James at this point of his career probably isn’t the smartest move.
