The Detroit Pistons and Philadelphia 76ers just played a wild game at Little Caesars Arena, with the Pistons coming out on top 133-132 in overtime.

With the 76ers up 120-118 and 42.8 seconds remaining in regulation, Joel Embiid made a shot in the paint, and then went flying after taking “an elbow” from Andre Drummond. In reality it was a straight-up flop.

Embiid started saying, “Get him outta here. Get him outta here.” And the refs indeed did that, calling a technical foul on Drummond for his second of the game, resulting in an automatic ejection.

So, Drummond was ejected, and that meant the Pistons had to play the rest of the game without the NBA’s leading rebounder (he had 16 boards in this game, for example). But the Pistons were able to pull off the victory in overtime, and the final play involved Embiid missing a three. You can be sure Drummond was celebrating this in the Pistons’ locker room:
