Oklahoma City Thunder shooting guard Josh Giddey has shown a ton of promise in his young two-year NBA career, but he will want to forget about one hilarious blunder on Monday night against the Boston Celtics.
The play occurred in the second quarter. After the Celtics scored, Giddey went to inbound the ball — which went awry. Somehow he threw the inbound pass right off his backboard, resulting in a turnover.

For a secondary guard, Giddey is actually a terrific passer, averaging 5.7 assists on the season.
This blunder is certainly not an indication of that whatsoever, and the NBA world has taken notice of this hilarious incident on social media.

Josh Giddey with the worst inbounds pass of all time.

This play will almost certainly be featured on TNT’s “Shaqtin A Fool” segment for the funniest blunders each week.
Josh Giddey on the other hand will want to forget that this play ever existed.
The Oklahoma City Thunder have exceeded expectations slightly thus far this year on the back of some terrific play from emerging star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, currently sitting at 6-7 on the season.
Giddey has been an extremely impressive secondary piece for the Thunder, but some of the team’s inexperience highlighted in this comedic mistake may be holding them back from taking the next step in their rebuild process.
