The Phoenix Suns selected Kansas product Josh Jackson with the fourth overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft, and the Arizona Diamondbacks had the new local sports star on hand to throw out the first pitch before the team’s game on Friday night.
And, well, the baseball throwing didn’t go smoothly for the 6’8″ swingman:

Not quite 50 Cent bad, but still bad.
Lonzo Ball also threw out a first pitch on the evening for the Los Angeles Dodgers, after getting drafted second overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. His pitch and throwing form weren’t so pretty either (but neither is his shooting form):

Said it was the 1st time he threw a baseball since 7th grade.

LaVar Ball then went on to say how Lonzo would put up better numbers as a starting pitcher than Clayton Kershaw. Okay, we’re not actually sure if he said that, but probably.
