New York Knicks fans are clamoring for Julius Randle to make the All-Star Game this year.

The 28-year-old forward added yet more evidence to his All-Star case with a monster game on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.

Randle scored 42 points and corralled 15 rebounds to key a 117-104 win over the Pistons.

It’s the first 40-point, 15-rebound game for the Knicks since franchise legend Patrick Ewing turned the feat in January 1996.

Randle, who came in averaging 24.1 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, unveiled his typical offensive game that can see him easily knock down 3s (he hit 4-of-7 shots from long range) or drive to the basket.

The Twitter account Knicks Muse pointed out that in the last month, Randle is first in the NBA in total points and second in rebounds.

So if Randle hasn’t already made his case for the All-Star Game with his numbers, Knicks fans were willing to help him on Twitter after his big game.

“Julius Randle don’t get enough credit for what he has done for the Knicks this season. … Should be a starter in the All Star game but it won’t happen,” tweeted Daniel Smith.

Its kind of weird we all collectively pretend Julius Randle is not a star,” E. Anthony tweeted.

Donald Stewart tweeted, “Knicks fans let’s get Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle to the All-Star Game! Much deserved. Both carrying this team. Randle was a monster tonight, Brunson is a monster every night.”

“JULIUS RANDLE TO THE ALL-STAR GAME,” tweeted a fan.
