When Sacramento Kings’ guard Ben McLemore lost his dog Monday, he decided to go to Twitter. It turned out to be the best move he could’ve made.
McLemore announced on his Twitter account Wednesday that his dog, Rolex, had been found after going missing two days ago. In his tweet, McLemore thanked those on social media that had helped him find his dog.
Sac fans I can't thank y'all enough for all the continued effort and support in looking for my pup. Happy to say I am reunited with Rolex!!

McLemore continued to tweet about finding his dog until it was found on Wednesday. Social media definitely showed its power during this search.

Though the finder of the dog is on Twitter, he hasn’t tweeted since July. So it has to be assumed that he read McLemore’s tweets and doesn’t tweet much for himself. Either way, it’s a grand gesture, and it should serve as a reminder. For as stupid as social media can be sometimes, it can help us connect with those around us no matter what the circumstances are.
