The New York Knicks are the latest team in the NBA to sign a sponsorship deal for their uniforms this season. Squarespace, the website publishing platform, will be the corporate entity with the retail space on the Knicks uniforms this season, as announced by the team and the company today.

Here is a quick look at what the new Knicks jerseys will look like with the Squarespace logo on the uniform. Personally, I think it looks a little big, but then again when you pay an NBA franchise as much as Squarespace is for the uniform placement, of course, you want people to be able to read your name. How much Squarespace was paying the Knicks has not yet been reported.

And the irony of the Knicks signing a deal with Squarespace was not lost on some.
Further distancing themselves from Phil's triangle, the Knicks are getting 'Squarespace' as their jersey sponsor.

But how did the fan react to the big reveal? Judging by this snapshot taken from the Knicks’ Facebook Live video by the New York Daily News, not particularly well.
To date, 17 NBA franchises have signed a deal to have a corporate sponsor on their uniforms this season. The NBA changed the uniform code to allow teams the opportunity to sign their own advertisement deals to place on their uniforms for some extra revenue.
All I want to know now is how many Knicks fans will sign up for a Squarespace account to build their own website to rip the Knicks this season? I think I figured out what Squarespace’s plan is here, and I like it.
