It must be March because the basketball is crazy. The New York Knicks just took down the rival Miami Heat on a buzzer-beater by former All-Star forward Julius Randle.

Trailing 120-119 with seconds to go, the Knicks needed a bucket of any kind to sink the Heat. Miami tried playing a good of defense as you can in that moment. But in the end, it wasn’t enough. Randle corralled the ball and despite a tough angle, put up the game-winning shot that sank right through the net.

Legendary commentator Mike Breen felt this was a Double BANG! worthy moment and it’s hard to argue. The Knicks and Heat are embattled in a tight race right now in the Eastern Conference. They aren’t separated by many games or spots in the standings – the Knicks are 5th, the Heat are 7th – so games like these are so important. This is a huge win for the Knicks who continue to be a very formidable team this season.

After Randle’s terrific shot, Knick fans, including well-known personality Desus Nice, went bonkers.

Canadian personality Ariel Helwani gave props to New York as well.

And elsewhere, one Heat fan had to hear it from a Knicks fan after the shot went down.

As you might imagine, the Heat fan didn’t look very amused.
