The New York Knicks are hoping to restore order in Madison Square Garden, in a seemingly never-ending quest to make the Knicks great, or just relevant, again. The latest move made to try and get the franchise heading in a positive direction is the hiring of Craig Robinson away from the Milwaukee Bucks.
Robinson just so happens to also be the brother of former first lady Michelle Obama and therefore the brother-in-law of former president Barack Obama. Maybe Robinson can bring the change that Knick fans can believe in.
News of Robinson’s hiring by the Knicks was first reported by Shams Charania of The Vertical, but the initial reaction has been quick to try and find Obama a job in the franchise as well.

Of course, there is some typical Knicks logic in play here as well…
@Dorfonsports Obama bro-in-law Craig Robinson was awful coach at Oregon State for many years – fits the Knicks debacle quite well.

As a head coach, Robinson had a career record of 122-128 during his time at Chicago Lab School (1999-2000), Brown (2006-2008) and Oregon State (2008-2014). Robinson was fired by Oregon State in 2014 and was given a $4 million buyout for the final three years on his contract. The Bucks hired Robinson as a vice president of player and organizational development after he took a year off from coaching, doing some TV work with ESPN.
