Kobe Bryant seems to keep finding more ways to miss. When the former MVP isn’t air-balling threes and bricking fadeaways, he’s channelling famous sitcom characters.

Shout-out to @yomike, who recognized that we’ve seen this clanked hook shot before, from another hooper who moved from Philadelphia to L.A.

Missed hook shots aside there are really a lot of similarities between Kobe and Will. They grew up in Philadelphia but moved to Los Angeles to pursue bigger things, where they took some heat for being brash and clashed occasionally with older, more experienced figures (Uncle Phil, Shaq) but had great success anyway.

And yeah, neither of their hook shots would make Kareem Abdul-Jabbar proud.
