Kobe Bryant and Nike unveiled the Kobe 11s on Monday, with the shoe scheduled to hit stores on January 9th.

But on December 22nd, 20 lucky fans around the world will get their hands on an autographed pair of the Kobe 11s, as part of a global scavenger hunt:

It sounds like either Kobe or Nike will be putting out clues on where to find them via social media.

“There will be questions that pose as clues,” Kobe explained. “Some of the questions will be kind of standard stuff – growing up questions and stuff like that. Others will be centered around innovation. It’s important for them to really understand the product.”

This is a fantastic marketing campaign by Nike, and a very cool way for Kobe to celebrate the 11th edition of his signature shoe in his final NBA season.

Philadelphia, Italy, and of course Los Angeles would seem like pretty safe guesses for the location of three of those pairs of shoes. You check all the physical therapy offices, we’ll start with the retirement homes.
