During Sunday night’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, former Providence star Kris Dunn showed off the skills that led the Minnesota Timberwolves to take him with the fifth overall pick of the 2016 NBA Draft.

Dunn scored 11 points (5-of-7 from the field), with four assists, three rebounds, and three blocks in 21 minutes of play. And he really opened up eyes with this filthy dribbling move he dropped on Portland’s Shabazz Napier:

No, Napier did not leave the game with a pair of broken ankles. However, he did leave the arena with a little less dignity.

Dunn has been inconsistent as a rookie, but in instances like this one we see flashes of why he could be the next great point guard in the land of 10,000 lakes.
