LeBron James knows what it’s like to throw down poster dunks, and he decided he didn’t want to be the one getting poster dunked on in the first quarter of Monday night’s Cavaliers-Warriors game in Cleveland.

Kevin Durant threw down a massive jam, and LeBron got the hell out of the way:

However, LeBron did play some more serious defense as the game went on, and got the best of Durant on a layup try from the Warriors’ forward in the second quarter:

And in the third quarter, Steph Curry tried a layup that LeBron chased down and spiked off the backboard:

What did we learn from these three highlights? If LeBron is around on defense, you’d better opt for the dunk.
