LeBron James

Another rough night for LeBron James got even rougher late in the third quarter of Game 4. After an insanely beautiful rebound and full-court outlet pass by Cavs forward Kevin Love, James took off for an uncontested dunk that would have given Cleveland its first lead since early in the first quarter.

LeBron tried to destroy the rim, but instead he destroyed what should have been a perfect highlight:

Whoops.

Most importantly, this play shows that playoff LeBron is indeed just like playoff Michael Jordan. (h/t @rodger_sherman)

Unsurprisingly, Skip Bayless launched at the easy opportunity to trash LeBron.

Sure, James is having his second rough night in a row. He had four fouls before the midway point of the second quarter and five turnovers at the time of the missed dunk. But this wasn’t a through-the-legs 360 or anything. By LeBron’s athletic standards, it was actually fairly routine. And he came back a minute later with two free throws to give the Cavs a 73-72 lead.
