The Los Angeles Lakers have always been at the forefront of headlines in the NBA. That held true heading into this season, after the franchise drafted Bronny James, the son of superstar forward LeBron James, in the in the second round of the NBA draft despite him having an underwhelming college career.
The Lakers were back in the headlines when they pulled off a stunning trade with the Dallas Mavericks that resulted in them acquiring superstar Luka Doncic. Doncic and the Mavericks faced each other for the first time since the trade.
The Lakers won the game, but something interesting happened before the score went final. In a video that is making the rounds on social media, LeBron James is seen quitting the game and walking off the floor before it’s officially over, which many would call an egregious display of unsportsmanlike conduct.
LeBron was out of there before the game ended. 🤣

Fans reacted to the video on social media.
“LeBron’s doing this, to make sure all the attention goes to Luka btw. It’s called being a selfless superstar, before everyone has their imaginary narratives,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Just like all those finals losses when he went to the locker room before the final buzzer,” one fan added.
“He should keep walking into retirement,” someone else added.
It’ll be interesting to see if James decides to address the move publicly.
