Another Dallas Mavericks game, another ridiculous Luka Doncic play.
During Monday’s Mavericks-Rockets game, Doncic unleashed perhaps his best step-back jumper yet. Despite being double-teamed, the 19-year-old phenom dribbled the ball through his own legs while falling back for a made jumper. Watch the clip multiple times. The move is silky smooth.

It’s sort of insane how good Doncic is already. Even though we knew he was a EuroLeague MVP and Champion last season before the Mavericks took him third overall in the 2018 NBA Draft, the fact he’s this good, this quickly, bodes well for Dallas fans. Routinely, Doncic is using his elite handle to whiz by players, making defenders look incredibly silly.

Somehow, despite being a human highlight reel and averaging 20.8 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists as a rookie, Doncic isn’t an All-Star. He deserves to be there. The Slovenian small forward is pure to joy to watch. His game is so fun and mature for a teenager. Opposing defenders have no idea what to do with him.
