Lonzo Ball and Candace Cameron Bure on Fuller House.

Los Angeles Lakers’ guard Lonzo Ball has been seen in some unusual contexts over the years, but his recent appearance on Netflix’s Full House revival, Fuller House, might take the cake. The second half of season three was released Friday, and Ball appears in a remarkably odd two-minute scene in the season finale:

So, Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) is a podiatrist, and there’s apparently a season-three storyline of the Lakers trying to get him to be their foot specialist. That leads to Lonzo uttering lines like “So, the Lakers sent me down here to beg you. They want your strong but gentle hands on their athletes’ feet.” This also leads to Lonzo taking off his Big Baller Brand shoe (presumably one of the new ones, not the scrapped original models, and he gets some nice camera time for it) and putting his bare foot up on the table, and to D.J. Tanner (Candace Cameron Bure) putting her own foot next to his, then engaging him in a pushup contest. In the end, Hale chooses D.J. over Lonzo, who then makes a joke about how he’s the number-two pick again. Even just writing out that paragraph is absurd. And Lakers’ teammate Kyle Kuzma thought so too:

And yet, this might not even make the top five strangest Ball family moments this year.
