The Boston Celtics have had very little problem through the first two games of their NBA Playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks. Boston soundly defended its home court in the first two games, winning both by 13 points.
One man who was silent on the series was NBA legend, Magic Johnson. On Thursday, that changed.
Magic sent out a tweet about the series that can only be described as authentic Magic.
“The reason I haven’t tweeted about the Celtics vs. the Hawks is because the Celtics had dominating performances in Games 1 and 2 and I expect them to win the Series,” Magic tweeted.

NBA Twitter has long been acquainted with Magic Johnson’s tweets. But for those who aren’t used to it, this is on brand.
Basketball fans had a lot of fun with Johnson’s tweet about Boston’s series against Atlanta.
I thought this was a fake account because this tweet is extremely Magic Johnson even for Magic Johnson https://t.co/oU8SoEcRod

Needed this, was wondering what was happening in this series

Interestingly enough, not long after this tweet, Magic sent another one out. This one was about his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. And unlike his tweet about the Celtics and Hawks (and so many others that he’s sent), Magic took a hard stance against the Lakers, calling them “soft, soft and SOFT.”
The Laker players were soft, soft, and SOFT in Game 2! That cannot be the case in Game 3!
