It has been common knowledge that the Black Mamba himself, a.k.a Kobe Bryant would be gracing the cover of 2KSports’ latest NBA game — NBA2K17. However, it appears he’ll have a little bit of company in that regard.
That’s because 2KSports announced that Indiana Pacers’ star Paul George will also grace the cover. Just don’t expect the two to share the same cover like other sports video games have done in the past. That much was made clear in one tweet by 2KSports on Wednesday:
Introducing one of the best at @NBA2K to grace #NBA2K17's cover: @Yg_Trece! #THISISNOTAGAME https://t.co/7RYm9uQjxx pic.twitter.com/MJELc3Daef

George will grace the cover of the regular game most of us will go out and purchase, while Bryant will be featured in a special Legend Edition of the game.
The move to George on the cover shouldn’t be too big a surprise, as rumors began to surface in recent days that he would the one gracing the cover.
George ended the season averaging a career high 23.1 points per game and shot 41.8 percent from the field for the year. However, his Pacers had their season end in the first round with a seven-game series loss to the Toronto Raptors.
