The Brooklyn Nets were NBA championship favorites after trading James Harden to the Philadelphia 76ers for Ben Simmons in February. Instead, they may not even win a game in the NBA playoffs.

The Boston Celtics beat the Nets 109-103 in Game 3 of their first-round series on Saturday night, giving Boston a commanding 3-0 series lead. No NBA team has ever come back from a 3-0 series deficit in a playoff series.

Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston with 39 points in 45 minutes.

On the other side, Brooklyn stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving each had just 16 points.

Boston has been playing fantastic basketball over the last few months and looks like a legitimate NBA title threat. The Nets, meanwhile, are on the verge of what would be an extremely disappointing — and very quick — exit.
