No Ja Morant, no problem.

The Memphis Grizzlies were without the star point guard due to injury but they didn’t really need Morant tonight. With nine players scoring double digit points, including six from the bench, the Grizzlies totally dismantled the Oklahoma City Thunder 152-79.

The 73 point margin of victory breaks an NBA record for the largest margin of victory. For the Thunder, they have been on the bad end of two notorious margin of victory records. Their 73 point loss took place on the road while their 57 point loss to the Indiana Pacers this past May was the biggest loss by a home team.

That was brutal, and it was even more brutal when the best player on the team wasn’t playing. NBA Twitter didn’t let up on just how good the Grizzlies played and just how bad the Thunder were.
