Beyoncé will not be the owner of the Houston Rockets. That honor now belongs to Tilman Fertitta, the billionaire owner of Landry’s Inc. who bought the team on Tuesday in a record-setting agreement.

However, if Beyoncé is still interested, she could still find a role with the team. In an interview with TMZ, Fertitta said he’d love to have Beyoncé, a Houston native, join his team:

“Beyoncé’s a wonderful, wonderful ambassador for Houston. To have anybody like Beyoncé to join my team in some capacity, I would truly appreciate. Beyoncé is Beyoncé. She’s our most favored woman in Houston. It’d be great to have her involved in any way.”

We’re pretty sure that Rockets stars James Harden would support Beyoncé taking a stake in the franchise.
