Twitter was not kind to Nick Young after he signed a one-year deal with the Warriors on Wednesday. Even his own teammates joined in on the roast.
First let’s take a moment of silence to reflect on Swaggy P most likely becoming an NBA champion next June.
Moving on.
We all know Nick Young will never hear the end of that premature 3-point celebration (above). But I don’t know who expected Warriors star Kevin Durant to welcome Young to the Bay Area by mocking him for that play.

Must be bad blood from when Young’s USC team knocked Durant’s Texas team out of the NCAA Tournament back in 2007.
Jokes aside, this tweet is clearly all in good fun as Durant was reportedly a big part of getting Swaggy P to sign with the Warriors in the first place.
As I mentioned on @957thegame, Kevin Durant was an active member of the Warriors' Nick Young recruitment bunch. Talked to him a lot.

Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green all reached out to Nick Young to recruit him, which meant a lot to him.

That didn’t stop the rest of Twitter from burning Young by digging up some of his own tweets from the past about the Warriors.
All this passing getting me mad

Forget about all of Young’s antics and past tweets. He’ll be yet another deadly, veteran shooter for the Warriors off the bench next season as they go for their third title in four seasons. He averaged 13.2 points on 40.4 percent three-point shooting for the Lakers last year.
I think Dub Nation will forgive him.
