It’s been a year since the infamous incident with the New York Giants’ Jason Pierre-Paul where he lost fingers in a fireworks accident on the 4th of July. Nick Young clearly hadn’t learned from that, and was messing around a little bit too much on Monday.

Video from a Snapchat account Tuesday showed Young picking up a firework that had already been lit and held it over his head. The firework exploded as Young held it with his bare hand.

People that were with Young knew better than for Young to pick up the firework and immediately began yelling. But that didn’t stop Young from going right ahead and rolling the dice on his shooting hand.

Pierre-Paul can somewhat hid his on the field with the club that he wears, but if something similar were to happen to Young, it would absolutely affect him in a much greater way.

Hopefully he doesn’t do anything like that again for his own good.
