This weekend during NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, there’s a chance the Rising Stars game on Friday could be more competitive than the actual All-Star game.

Why’s that? Well, Nikola Jokic of the World Team is already talking trash (NSFW-ish):

SHOTS FIRED!

Here are the rosters for World And USA teams:

USA: Devin Booker (Suns), Malcolm Brogdon (Bucks), Marquese Chriss (Suns), Brandon Ingram (Lakers), Frank Kaminsky (Hornets), Jahlil Okafor (76ers), D’Angelo Russell (Lakers), Jonathon Simmons (Spurs), Karl-Anthony Towns (Timberwolves), and Myles Turner (Pacers).

World: Alex Abrines (Thunder), Dante Exum (Jazz), Buddy Hield (Pelicans), Nikola Jokic (Nuggets), Trey Lyles (Jazz), Willy Hernangomez (Knicks), Jamal Murray (Nuggets), Kristaps Porzingis (Knicks), Domantas Sabonis (Thunder), and Dario Saric (76ers).

Don’t get me wrong, the World team is pretty good, but the USA team is STACKED. (Also, at first glance it feels like half the USA team played at Kentucky or Duke, huh?)

Jokic was talking trash to a reporter and then tried to defend his Denver and World teammate Jamal Murray and looked ridiculous.

Anyway, Jokic fired the shots and on Friday night he’ll have to deliver. And if he doesn’t, well, then…probably nothing changes, as it’s hard to imagine lower stakes.

The game can be seen Friday night at 9pm EST on TNT.
