Lonzo Ball made his highly-anticipated NBA debut on Thursday night for the Lakers and had a pretty rough performance. The UCLA product had three points ( 1-of-6 FG, 0-for-2 FT), six assists, and nine rebounds in the Lakers’ 108-92 loss to the Clippers.

And Clippers veteran guard Patrick Beverley particularly made the night rough for Ball.

Of course, Beverley — an All-NBA defender — basically told everyone that he was going to shut down Ball with this tweet a month ago.

And after the game, Beverley reportedly referred to Ball as a “weak ass motherfucker.”

Thanks mainly to his father, Lonzo is going to have a target on his back all season.
