Paul George dunk on Derrick Favors

Paul George has caught a lot of flack in his first season with the Thunder, and for good reason. Although he struggled scoring for much of Wednesday’s game against the Jazz, he gave the Oklahoma City crowd something to go nuts about when he posterized Derrick Favors with this absolutely vicious tomahawk.

One quarter later, Thunder teammate Jerami Grant submitted his nomination for dunk of the night with this putback, although Steven Adams’ reaction on the bench may have been the best part of the play.

George and Grant are no strangers to the highlight reel. Last month, they combined for a nasty alley-oop off a dunk-contest-style bounce pass.

The Thunder are only one game above .500, and George is having his worst season since he was a rookie. But man, if the Big Three of George, Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony can get this thing turned around, they’ll be a heckuva lot of fun to watch this coming spring.
