Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi deserves every honor she gets. The 12-year veteran broke the WNBA’s career scoring record two weeks ago, putting her square in the conversation for greatest women’s basketball player of all time.
The Mercury hosted “Diana Taurasi Night” for Friday’s game against the Minnesota Lynx and made sure everyone knew where they stand on the GOAT argument. As part of the festivities, the Mercury set up a petting zoo filled with goats.
Because the only thing better than a dumb pun is a bleating, hoofed, four-legged dumb pun.

Keep in mind that the Lynx have Maya Moore, a younger UConn alumna who is also putting together her own GOAT case. A+ trolling job as a bonus for Taurasi and the Mercury.
