In the fourth quarter of the Suns-Wizards game on Tuesday night in Phoenix, the Suns’ gorilla mascot went diving onto the court in the middle of game action.

Why did the gorilla do this? It seems there was an object on the court:

That’s some A+ awareness and hustle, and provided a rare moment of intrigue for a Phoenix team that owns the NBA’s third-worst record this season at 21-43. And yes, they lost this game to the Wizards, 131-127.
