Known as “Big Shot Rob” during his 16-year NBA career, Robert Horry appears to still have some shots left in him.

The seven-time NBA champion was at the Nike 3ON3 tournament in Los Angeles last weekend to cheer on his son when he and another man got into a physical altercation. The fight was captured by TMZ Sports.

Kudos to the guy with the umbrella who ran over to help without depriving himself of shade on a sweltering day.

It appears that the other man provoked Horry physically. The former NBA forward spoke with TMZ afterward, claiming that the man was heckling him and his son.

“The guy was trash talking the whole game,” he said. “He shoved me. Where I’m from, you protect yourself.”

He soon walked away, however, when he realized he was “the only one who was gonna lose in this situation.”

Horry also said this isn’t an isolated incident and that the man had trash-talked his son’s team in previous games as well.

Horry currently works as an analyst for Spectrum SportsNet. No word yet on whether or not the incident will lead to any issues with them.
