Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry who played for the LA Lakers, San Antonio Spurs, and Houston Rockets made a shocking statement.
He says he thinks Hakeem Olajuwon is better than Shaq and Tim Duncan and according to him it’s not even close.
“Dream is number one by far,” Horry told Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson on their “All The Smoke” podcast. “Nobody wants to talk about it. I think you have these guys who are quiet. Dream, he’s a really quiet guy. You can’t get him to do much, to say much. So, we kind of veer away from him. We don’t talk about him.”

Hard to argue with a guy that won rings with all three of them

If anybody would know, it would be Horry. He played with all three in his career at one point, winning championships with them as well but when it comes to best centers of all-time, Olajuwon’s name rarely comes up but he was a force during his time.
He is often forgotten because he played during a time when Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls dominated the NBA. But his Houston Rockets did win two NBA titles in 1994 and 1995.
“His body of work was just incredible,” Horry said, “and he’s just a good dude, too, man.”
If you look at the overall body of work for each player, you can make an argument for any of the three. Horry said he was grateful to be able to play with all three in his career.
