If you ask NBA fans who the greatest duo of all time is, the first names that may come to mind are Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant.

The pair won three NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers in the early 2000s, winning back-to-back-to-back titles. So, when fans or the media try to compare them to other NBA duos, Shaq takes a little offense to that.

When fans try to compare he and Kobe to the Philadelphia 76ers duo of James Harden and Joel Embiid, Shaq wasn’t having any of it.

He said he and Kobe Bryant are the greatest and it’s not even close.

“only one superduo ever created , yea i said it, ONLY ONE. Miss u kobe,” O’Neal wrote in his post.

Harden and the 76ers lost to the Miami Heat in 6 games in the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs, a game in which Harden only scored 11 points and none in the second half.

Harden has been on four NBA teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, and now the 76ers, none of which have won an NBA Championship with him on their team.

Lots of people are taking shots at Harden and Embid for not getting the Sixers to the Eastern Conference Finals, but they have mostly saved their shots for Harden while Embiid was injured during the series.

You can understand why Shaq may be a little sensitive about the subject knowing what he and Kobe accomplished.
