To nobody’s surprise, Kevin Durant joining the Golden State Warriors has completely shifted the odds for the NBA title in 2017.

While the Warriors without Kevin Durant were easily favorites to take home to the title, adding Durant has made them monster favorites.

Before Durant (BD)…

After Durant (AD)…

That means with Durant in the fold, the Warriors’ chances of winning the title are 4/5. They have a greater than 50 percent chance of a championship. That’s just ridiculous.

But that’s not the only crazy odds they’re being given.

An over/under at 68.5 wins!? That’s nuts. Then again, this team without Durant, but with Harrison Barnes and Andrew Bogut, set the all-time high for wins with their 73-9 record this past season.

Going back to the NBA title odds, it’s safe to say those are historically great odds.

By putting Golden State at -125 vs. the field, the payoff for betting on the Warriors right now would be a waste of time. On top of that, if Golden State does play as well as everyone expects them too, the 2016-2017 regular season may be a waste of time too.

Oh and while these odds may not affect your next 2K game, you still can’t play with the Warriors.
