The Pistons are in Los Angeles today to take on the Clippers, marking Blake Griffin’s first return to the Staples Center. (Well, the Clippers version, anyway, the Pistons lost to the Lakers on Wednesday.)
In any case, it’s the first time Griffin has faced the Clippers since last January’s surprise trade, and based on this slight interaction with Clippers owner/weird superfan billionaire Steve Ballmer, he’s still not too happy about how things ended with his former team.

That’s perfect. It’s like making contact with an ex in the grocery store and ducking down the nearest aisle, except in this case it’s a billionaire who’s sort of stalking you down the court and trying to force an interaction.
Griffin later acknowledged the crowd during introductions, so apparently the hard feelings only extend so far.

More people should leave owners hanging.
