One of the more surprising things to occur thus far this NBA season was the San Antonio Spurs releasing 2021 first-round pick Josh Primo earlier this week.
Primo released a statement on the matter via NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski on Friday, revealing that his release was due to “previous trauma” he had suffered, and saying that he was going to focus on mental health treatment moving forward.

Many fans remained confused about what exactly occurred that prompted his release, but now some disturbing allegations about Primo have been revealed.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne, Primo was released by the Spurs due to several alleged instances where he exposed himself to women.
Many fans were previously supporting Primo for his mental health struggles, but now that these allegations have been revealed, stances have quickly shifted regarding the 19-year-old guard.

Not too much details to it but certainly more on the surface then just exposing himself. Not great for the 19-year old https://t.co/EfUYy2GBRx

This is obviously a disgusting thing for Primo to have done, if true, and his basketball career now appears to be in serious jeopardy in just his second NBA season. The former Alabama standout has yet to break out at the NBA level but flashed some potential upside for San Antonio at just 19 years of age.
Shelbourne and Wojnarowski added that despite this report, there are still NBA teams intrigued with Primo’s talent and potential who are “searching for a more complete understanding of the situation.”
More details may emerge about this situation moving forward, but for the time being these allegations are not only a very bad look for Josh Primo but could spell legal trouble soon as well.
Sources: A former Spurs female employee has alleged that guard Josh Primo exposed himself to her, and she has hired attorney Tony Buzbee.
Buzbee represented the women in the sexual misconduct lawsuits against NFL QB Deshaun Watson.
